The short answer? I’ve always loved to travel! Some of my favorite memories are from road trips I took as a child with my parents — every day brought something new to see, learn, or experience. That sense of adventure lit a spark in me early on, and it never went out. I knew I wanted a life that included exploring the world, and helping others do the same. Becoming a travel advisor allows me to turn that lifelong passion into something meaningful — creating unforgettable journeys for others.

I plan a wide variety of trips — from romantic getaways and Disney vacations to guided group tours and multi-generational family adventures. I specialize in thoughtfully curated itineraries, especially to destinations like Ireland, Italy, the Caribbean, and a few magical places here in the U.S. I also love working with faith-based groups or travelers with a shared interest (like food, wine, or culture).

Haiti holds a special place in my heart. I have been a missionary there several times and the natural beauty is breathtaking — lush mountains, turquoise waters, and vibrant landscapes that stay with you long after you’ve left. But what truly makes Haiti unforgettable is its people. They are among the most resilient, gracious, and proud individuals I’ve ever met. Despite challenges, their spirit is unshakable, and their warmth is genuine. Traveling there changed the way I see the world, and it reminded me that the most powerful part of any journey is the people you meet along the way.

I also love anywhere with water. Give me a quiet beach or a scenic cruise and I’m happy.

Motion sickness patches, my favorite travel pillow and my headphones. Believe it, or not, as much as I love to travel I get sick on a Ferris wheel so motion sickness is always a concern for me. I often sleep when traveling to help with that, so my favorite travel pillow is always on hand and, I have to have my music so headphones are also a must have. Plus, they help drown out the noise when I'm sleeping on a plane or bus.

Since I am a travel advisor part-time I do also have a full-time job and, like most of the jobs I've had in my life, it still involves helping people. I love being part of someone’s joy or journey — whether that’s through travel or another path.

For me personally "Why plan - just go!" It isn't unusual for me to decide at 11:00 a.m. on a Friday morning that I am taking off on an adventure for the weekend at 5:00 p.m. and not even know where I am going - or where I'm going to sleep. That's part of the adventure!

That obviously is not how I plan travel for my clients - in fact, it is just the opposite - every detail is planned and I would never send someone off without a detailed plan.
